'Remove White Margins' option is grayed out I just had Adobe Acrobat X installed on my computer and I can't seem to be able to remove the white margins like I did with the prior version that I had. I know I can use the crop tool to remove the unwanted white/blank space but sometimes my files have multiple pages so the crop size for one page may not apply to all the other pages. I used to use 'remove white margins' and apply that to all the pages in the file but this option is grayed out now. I've done a little bit of research and it seems like other people are able to check that box. Is this a setting that I can fix?
My Adobe Acrobat X Help is also not working so it's not like that can be one of my resources for this fix.
Set print margins in Acrobat XI Pro I have a set of PDF documents that have text that goes all the way to the left and right edges of the PDF. I need to print them so there is about a 1 inch margin on the left so I have room to bind the pages and still have all the text visible to me.
In the Print dialog box, there is a Page Setup button. When I click this, I can select the paper type, paper source, orientation and margins (in inches).
However, the margins selections is grayed out. All other functions are selectable, but the margins are fixes at 1 inch and cannot be changed. There is no indication as to why the margins cannot be changed. Also, when I print the document, there are no margins at all. It's like the 1 inch margins that are indicated in the grayed out boxes do not exist at all. I have been searching all over the web for answers to this and it's driving me crazy. I have tried various combinations of cropping, setting page box sizes, scaling the document, and so on based on the answers to similar questions in several forums.
None of these have worked and all of them either result in: a. No change at all and the document prints with text running all the way to the left edge of the page or b.
Text being cut off at the edge of the page and the document is completely unusable. This seems like it should be a VERY simple thing to do but it is apparently either impossible or extremely complicated. These are one page PDFs. All I want to do is set a printing margin on the left. How do I set printing margins for a PDF document I'm printing from Acrobat XI Pro?
